Zach Baumgartner

Zach Baumgartner is a visual storyteller based in Washington, D.C.  His skill sets include directing, producing, writing, and editing.  Zach feels most excited when he has the opportunity to tell emotionally-driven stories.  Zach grew up in South Dakota where his family roots date back to the turn of the 20th century.  He earned his B.A. in Cinematic Arts Production & Political Science from the University of Southern California, spent several years producing and editing in Los Angeles, and currently makes documentaries for National Geographic.  When he’s not working, Zach loves to spend time outside with his family and their rescue dogs.
